While traveling to Slovenia, you will undoubtedly have many places to see in Slovenia. You will come across many fine castles, mountains and music festivals. The 16th century Ravne Castle or Streiteben with a library and museum is in the northern Carinthia province on the banks of the Eben (Meza) River. The Julian Alps rise to 2864 meters at Triglav. The Triglav 's silhouette of three peaks is in the national coat of arms and Triglav is a symbol of Slovene identity. The three prominent music festivals are Metalcamp, Soca Reggae Riversplash and Te Mikka festival. Talking of places to see in Slovenia, you will be pleased to know that Slovenia is green all over. In National Parks, there is the fascinating Triglav National Park spread over a twenty square kilometer area.The Triglav National Park is named after Mount Triglav, Slovenia's highest peak, which is located in the park's center.

The radial valley supplies water to the Soca (Adriatic Sea and the Sava (Black Sea) river systems. The park is an excellent place to enjoy nature and contemplate on life. There are also the Kozjansko and Skocjan Caves regional parks with 40 other nature parks and 26 Natura 2000 parks and make some really good places to see in Slovenia.

Rinka waterfall lying in the Logar Valley is the source of Savinja river. The place is proclaimed natural heritage. It is a popular tourist destination, visited in all seasons and is the highest and most beautiful of 20 waterfalls in Logarska valley. Winters greet ice-climbers too. The best view is from Kamnik Saddle peak and is one of the best places to see in Slovenia. In Postogna, you will come across the Postojna Caves, a 20,570 meter long Karst cave system created by the Pivka River. Accidentally discovered, it was in 1819, that the caves were opened to the public.
