The Porthcurno Beach, Cornwall is located at about three miles east and southeast of land’s end. This south east facing beach located in the western corner of the beautiful Porthcurno Bay is bordered by the Minack Theatre to the west; and Green Bay, Pednvounder Beach and the famous Logan Rock to the east. The beach is easily accessible from different parts of world. The serene beach is connected with a large park which is at about some 200 yards from the beach leading to a wide footpath gently sloping down to the shore. Just across the road from the car park is a café. The cable station is just above the road from the park that also serves meals and drinks for the tourists through out the season. The Porthcurno Beach, Cornwall also provides several neat and clean public toilets along with a public telephone in the car park.
The beach is located in the outskirts of the Porthcurno village which is in the parish of the St Levan in the valley of the south coast of Cornwall, England, U.K. The Porthcurno Beach, Cornwall is located at some few hundred yards towards the south of the village and in the shelter of the Logan Rock. The beach is widely famous for its coarse sand of broken sea shells, steep shelf and strong rip-currents. One can also experience here the combinations of wind, tides and sea currents can change the 'sandscape' dramatically in a few hours. During the high tide the beach is all with busy flow of water. Towards the east of the Porthcurno beach is a small tidal beach called Green Bay. Sometimes this is accessible with concern from Porthcurno beach for a short time at low tide.
