The Public Palace is one of the many interesting places to see in San Marino. The Romanesque building was constructed in a style which is Neo-gothic. The architect of this remarkable structure was Francesco Azzurri and was built in 1894. The structure was built over the base of the archetypal Parva Domus Comunis. It had been almost in a dilapidated state before the restoration process started under the reputed architect Gae Aulenti.
