The original German name of the Lueneburg Heath is Luneburger Heide. Lueneburg Heath is a region located in the Lower Saxony area of Germany. After the World War II was over, the body of Heinrich Himmler, the Nazi war criminal was buried at this site on May 4 in 1945.
