Tracing its origin since the stone age, the Wawel Hill bears witness to changing generations, and is on a whole, a microcosm of Polish history and culture.

One of the oldest sanctuaries of Poland, the Wawel Cathedral is atleast 1000 years old. The center of the Wawel Cathedral is occupied by the mausoleum of St. Stanislav, Poland's saint patron, the 11th-century Krakow bishop who was murdered by King Boleslav II (1058–1079). Apart from this, the church also has the royal cemetery. Wawel is the perfect place for to have a glimpse into the unique history of Poland.
